I saw an interesting perspective from here as you could see Burj Khalifa in the back drop and the modern heritage looking souk al bahar in the foreground. It sure is a nice place…  The night of the inauguration of the Burj Khalifa was an unforgettable day. Me and another friend of mine (who was visiting Dubai at that time) were lucky to get the best seats in the house that day, by sneaking pass the doorman to get access to the rooftop of the Souk Al Bahar. I really like the architectural contrast in this image. The Arabesque style of the Souk Al Bahar and the sleek contemporary styling of the Address Hotel. Great photo! Love the blues and tans.

Hey thanks Oscar! Thats one thing Dubai is known for. =)  I had this image for almost 2 years in my archives and decided to reprocess it. It was taken on the same day as I did Monumental Flux – Burj Al Arab. This was a shot I took after it had rained heavily that day and thats the reason why you see everything so clearly…. 2 comments
