I was hurrying up taking as many shots I could out in the rain since I had a feeling it would stop…  This is a shot I took at Medinate Jumeirah just before sunset. I wanted to make this image look dramatic so you can see every bit of detail in the work that has been done on this kind of architecture. The intricacy of the ornamental relief work is really beautiful. The angle from which you took the shot is wonderful. Very dramatic. My only critique is the rework of the sky. Needs a little more attention near the tower. Still a beautiful shot.

Hey Thanks Faiza! I am glad you love my work!  I was fortunate to be out last year after one of the rare torrents that quench a dehydrated Dubai. The landscape was so crisp and fresh with the newly fallen rain, the colors were so deep and saturated. The palm trees seem to immediately respond to the deluge of precipitation and opened up a little… 8 comments
